Who is Meetboard for?
Chauffeur and private hire firms anywhere in the world, from an owner-driver with one car to a firm with many cars and drivers. It is built around how licensed operators actually work: airport, station and port transfers, events, days out, private tours, long A-to-B journeys, account customers, subcontracted drivers and the records a licensed firm has to keep.
Is my data kept apart from other companies?
Yes. Every company gets its own private database, created when you join. Nothing crosses between companies unless you choose to share a job with a partner firm, and then only the minimum details travel.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. It is a monthly subscription and you can cancel at any time. You start with a 14-day free trial.
What happens to my records if I leave?
You can export your booking records, driver statements and invoices before you go. Licensing records have a retention period that you set, and we will not delete them early.
Do you take a cut of my fares?
No. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you. You pay Meetboard only the monthly subscription. (Stripe charges its own card fees. If you pass jobs between firms in a group, the referral percentage is agreed between those firms.)
Can I bring my customers, drivers and prices across from my current system?
There is no automatic import yet. Setup is quick, because standard vehicle types and the main airports of your country are one click each, and customers are created for you as you take bookings. Many firms run Meetboard alongside their old system for a few weeks first. If you have a long customer list, tell us when you ask for your account.
What if Meetboard is unavailable on the morning of a job?
The evening before, the daily job sheet is emailed to your office and to each driver with tomorrow's jobs, so everyone has the details even if a screen is down. A second email later in the evening catches anything booked late. We do not yet publish a status page.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Setup is a short checklist: add your vehicles, your airports and your prices. Standard vehicle types and your country's main airports are one click each.
Can drivers use it on their phones?
Yes. Each driver gets a simple web page with their jobs, navigation links and one button per step. There is nothing to install.
Will it send WhatsApp or text messages?
Not yet. Email works today. WhatsApp and text are on the plan, and we will say so on this page when they are ready.
Is the AI going to run my business?
No. AI is off until you switch it on, you choose how much it may do in each area, and cancellations, refunds, complaints and driver payments always need a person to approve them.
Where is my data stored?
In UK and European data centres (London for company databases at the moment) with encryption in transit. Passwords are hashed and card details never touch Meetboard. See the security page for the detail.
